SERIOUS CRASH SOUTH OF COOBER PEDY

UPDATE: Police have attended a serious road crash about 90kms south of Coober Pedy in the State’s Far North.

Just after 4.30pm on Saturday afternoon police were alerted to a single car roll-over on the Stuart Highway.

A 66 year old woman from Alice Springs died at the scene  The 71 year old driver also from Alice Springs was seriously injured and flown to hospital.

MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SEARCH IN STATE’S FAR NORTH

Police have arrested a man and a woman and located three children safe and well after a stolen car was dumped and set on fire on the Strzelecki track in the State’s Far North.

Late yesterday afternoon, a police patrol located a man in company with a woman and three children in a stolen Holden Commodore about 100kms north of Lyndhurst. Continue reading
