In the early hours of Sunday morning the 30th of August, 2026 several vehicles were broken into in Crowders Gully Road, COOBER PEDY.  Personal property including cash, alcohol and an e-bike were stolen. 

It is suspected that the same offender(s) also broke into the Coober Pedy Desert Drive In and stole confectionery over the same weekend and caused a substantial amount of damage during the process. 

Police located the stolen e-bike the following day and are awaiting the victim who was travelling through Coober Pedy to return to collect it.
