
Shell Service Station in Coober Pedy robbed by two men with a armed with a machete and a fence post
Coober Pedy police are seeking information from the public after two men robbed a service station at Coober Pedy overnight.
Just after midnight, two men armed with a machete and a mental fence post, threatened staff at the Shell Service Station on Hutchinson Street, demanding cash and cigarettes. The male suspects also threatened a customer demanding his wallet.
The suspects then fled on foot leaving with cash, cigarettes and a wallet from the customer.
The man armed with the machete is described as of aboriginal appearance, aged in his early to mid 20’s, muscular build, and about 175cms tall. He was wearing a black head piece over his head, white jacket or shirt with blue stripes and track-pants.
The second man was armed with the fence post is described as of aboriginal appearance, about 18-years-old, slim build, 175cms tall, wearing a black shirt and track-pants.
