Police are seeking public assistance to help locate 35-year-old man Danny Ferguson.

Ferguson is wanted for questioning following the suspicious death of a woman at Oodnadatta on Friday 3 July.

He was last seen on foot at Alberga Creek on the Finke Track approximately 50km north of Oodnadatta and police believe that he may attempt to travel to Finke in the Northern Territory.

Ferguson is described as Aboriginal, 176cm tall with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a red long sleeve top, pants, a vest jacket and carrying a backpack.
