A man has died following a single motorcycle crash in the State’s Far North yesterday.
Just after 7pm on Saturday 15 October, police and emergency services responded to the crash which occurred in scrubland approximately 500m south of the Amata Community.
The 22-year-old rider, who was from the area, was rushed to the nearby nurses station, but sadly died.
Major Crash will be attending the scene this morning to investigate.
The man’s death brings the State’s road toll to 70 as compared to 82 for the same time last year.
