2010: The wait is nearly over for thousands of Year 12 students as they prepare to receive their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) results tomorrow.

At the SACE Board of South Australia building, Australia Post vans will be loaded with 17,492 student results’ envelopes this morning – these are due to reach destinations across the State on Thursday.

SACE Board of SA Chief Executive, Dr Paul Kilvert said: “It is through the combined efforts of more than 2,000 teachers, markers, moderators, and SACE Board staff that these results are compiled and I thank them for their time and dedication to this process.”

“It is also important to recognise the contribution Australia Post makes in ensuring students receive their results on time, wherever they live.”

From 8am Thursday morning, students will also be able to access their results online.

Dr Kilvert said: “Waiting for results can be an exciting time for students and their families and so, prior to being able to hold their SACE Certificate in their hands, we expect thousands of students to first check their results online.

“This year, for the first time, we also expect to see hundreds of students accessing their results online using smart phones and tablet computers.”

Students who access their results online will need their SACE Student Registration Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN). If a student does not know their PIN they can reset it via the SACE website:

The SACE Board will have a Results Enquiry Line running from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a free call number for country students: Results Enquiry Line: (08) 8373 0599
