Sections of the Stuart and Eyre Highway will be closed to allow DTEI and other officials to monitor road train vehicle movement and tracking along these sections of the Highways

The Stuart Highway will be temporarily closed from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm for short periods on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 August approximately 50 kilometres north of Port Augusta for a distance of 10 kilometres between Ranges View Parking Bay and Hesso Rail Crossing.

The Eyre Highway will be temporarily closed from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm for short periods on Wednesday 25, Thursday 26 and Friday 27 August approximately 100 kilometres west of Ceduna and continuing through to the Iluka Junction, a distance of approximately 80 kilometres.

The Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) and the South Australian Road Transport Assocation (SARTA) will conduct the controlled road traffic experiments.
