OZ Minerals is pleased to announce management appointments in the areas of Exploration and Business Development following the announcement of the departure of Tony Manini as Executive General Manager Exploration and Business Development

“Exploration and Business Development are key areas of growth for OZ Minerals and because of their importance for the company we have decided to split the role that Tony Manini held,” said OZ Minerals Managing Director and CEO, Terry Burgess.

‘Importantly, these appointments have been made from within the company and have allowed continuity and good interaction between people and their close teams who know the assets and company well.’

Tony Houston, currently Manager Exploration – Asia, will become Head of Exploration for the Company. He will be responsible for exploration activities and strategy in Australia, Cambodia and new project development.

Richard Hedstrom has been appointed as Head of Business Development pursuing growth strategies for OZ Minerals.

Replacing Richard, and expanding her current role, Natalie Worley will be Head of Investor and External Relations.

Tony Manini’s last day will be 30 September 2009.
