Major Crime detectives have arrested a 30 year old man formerly of Pt Augusta (in Adelaide) and charged him with the murder of a 25 year old woman from Pt Augusta who was found deceased at her home address in Osborne Street, Pt Augusta on 27 July 2008. 

The circumstances of the death were considered suspicious and have been investigated by Major Crime detectives and Pt Augusta Police since that time. The death was declared a Major Crime on 29 June 2009..

Police will allege the man and woman were estranged after a relationship and marriage of several years. The arrested man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate Court on Monday 20 July 2009.
