With new police recruit, Kendall Plant and the Kenny brothers (Fabian and Damien) from Indulkana playing well, Coober Pedy kicked the first 5 goals of the match.  Andamooka came storming home in the last 10 minutes of the first quarter kicking the next 3 goals.

The second quarter was much the same with the Saints starting it brilliantly and then fading to let Andamooka score the last 2 goals of the half.

The third quarter saw the Saints open up a gap on the scoreboard with Ben Buller, in his customary style, scoring a freakish goal from the boundary line and revving up the crowd. The Saints were ahead by 21 points at the end of the third quarter.
