Another 940km trip saw the Coober Pedy Saints beat the Andamooka Roos in a keenly fought contest on Saturday 30th May.

With new police recruit, Kendall Plant and the Kenny brothers (Fabian and Damien) from Indulkana playing well, Coober Pedy kicked the first 5 goals of the match. Andamooka came storming home in the last 10 minutes of the first quarter kicking the next 3 goals.

The second quarter was much the same with the Saints starting it brilliantly and then fading to let Andamooka score the last 2 goals of the half.

The third quarter saw the Saints open up a gap on the scoreboard with Ben Buller, in his customary style, scoring a freakish goal from the boundary line and revving up the crowd. The Saints were ahead by 21 points at the end of the third quarter.

The Saints pressed home their advantage in the last quarter to end up winning 20.13 (133) to 13.7 (85) by 48 points. Ben Buller with 5 goals, Andrew Dingaman and Zaaheer McKenzie with 3 and Timmy Walker with 2 were the main goal scorers
