Two 10-year-old boys were arrested at Port Lincoln after allegedly breaking into cars. The offences occurred at the Port Lincoln Foreshore area on Sunday 29 December and about 4.45pm.
Police will allege the two boys were stealing money from inside the vehicles. They were both charged with illegal interference and theft, and bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court at a later date.
Port Lincoln Police wish to remind residents and visitors to ensure their cars are locked and any valuables, including small change, to be removed from the vehicle or placed out of sight.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity around parked cars should report it to the police assistance line on 131 444.
