MISSING FAMILY FLINDERS RANGES AREA

Update:  Sean and Jeannie Lynch and their five and six-year-old sons Alex and Oscar reported missing in the Flinders Ranges area  have been found safe and well at Arkaroola in the South Australian Flinders Ranges.

The family were located by police through a bank trasaction at Arkaroola.  Relatives were concerned as the family had not made contact for about three weeks.  Mr. and Mrs Lynch had not realised they had been reported missing.

The family of four from Queensland including a husband and wife and their two boys aged five and six were last seen in Port Augusta on the 2nd July 2009 before heading off into the Flinders Ranges. The family were travelling in a Blue Nissan Patrol with Queensland registration SGL68.

Police have conducted a number of enquiries in the Flinders Ranges to locate this family however to date these enquiries have proved fruitless.

 The husband and wife are both 41 years of age. The husband is of a slim build, with light brown hair, whilst the female is also of a slim build with shoulder length brown hair. The children aged five and six both have blonde hair.

Relatives and police have concerns for the welfare of the family.
