Saints – Hornridge Night Game at Coober                                

While the Saints may have been beaten, it was a great night for footy in Coober Pedy last Saturday as over 400 people turned up to watch Coober Pedy take on Hornridge.

With a huge crowd backing them, the Saints pushed Hornridge for the first half with only 2 goals between the two sides at half time.

From then on, Hornridge’s run and delivery of the ball overwhelmed the Saints midfield and backline as they ran away with the game by 92 points.

The Saints would like to thank the town for their support and especially the numerous volunteers for the canteen, bar, umpires, scoreboard, timekeeping, etc.

The next home game is on the 13th June against Roxby Districts. It is another night match that kicks off at 6pm this time.
