24 Jul 2024 6:35am A man will face court after he was reported for extreme speed on Wednesday.

About 3.45pm on Tuesday 23 July patrols were conducting mobile speed detection duties on Olympic Dam Highway, Arcoona when then detected a Yamaha motorcycle allegedly travelling at 171km/h in a 110 speed zone.

Patrols stopped the rider and issued the 24-year-old man from Ridson Park with a six-month instant loss of licence, impounded the motorcycle and reported him to attend court at a later date.
