A man has been flown to hospital in Adelaide following a light plane crash at Evelyn Downs (north of Coober Pedy) this afternoon.
About 2pm on Thursday 27 July, police received reports that a light plane crashed while attempting to land.
A solo male pilot, aged 42 from Arcoona, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
This is the second plane crash in the Far North of the state today (Thursday)
Evelyn Downs is located between Marla and Oodnadatta, coming off the Stuart Highway.
