A prison van rolled over 10 kilometres north of Glendambo on the Stuart Highway today whilst transporting a prisoner to Port Augusta after a court appearance at Coober Pedy in the state’s Far North.

One of the two guards suffered a fractured leg, Injuries suffered by the second guard and the prisoner have not been established.

The accident scene was attended by Woomera police and rescue workers.
